unfortunately i was busy most of the day today - and didn't notice the spam that was being posted here until just now. the post has since been deleted and the member removed from the tribe. for the record: if you spam us here you will be removed. sorry guys. we are not here to be "sold" - we are just here to chat.

with that said - this tribe is set on "moderated" membership. for those who are unaware, it means that if someone wants to join this tribe, they need to send me a message asking for permission to join. now - i didn't set this up as "moderated" - it was like that when i got it - but i figured that if someone took the time to enter in that stipulation, there must be a reason why.

i get about 3 to 4 requests per week to join this tribe. if someone has no friends and just joined tribe, i expect them to give me a reason for wanting to join. i try not to discriminate against people who don't have any friends yet, because i know that it's not easy to make friends on here when you have zero. no one trusts that you aren't a troll or an ALT.

so anyway - the bottom line is, i pretty much let anyone join, because i have no way of determining the "good guys" from the "bad guys". so - i guess i just hope that in cases like this, where one slips through the cracks and abuses their privilege of being a member here - i can catch it quick enough that it doesn't annoy too many of you.
