I think that some small women get babied a lot growing up in our society; and the older we get, the more we might get babied (because people see us as tiny, cute, and little-girlish...like the 'toy' version of a woman).

Being babied/protected/favored can make a girl feel more lovable, which can make her sweeter and just happier in her own skin as a woman. (It also sometimes made me a bit of a brat as a kid.)

I was always the littlest one in my family and in my class at school, so I was always treated like "the baby." People don't usually mistreat the baby, and, in fact, we get away with behaviors that would be unacceptable for bigger kids (even of the same age) to display--just because we look younger.

I actually think that being smaller has made me less mature...I act FAR younger than my age!
