Petite girls in Bondage

We have found that if the woman is very petite many bondage devices in our playrooms do not fit them as well! We are seeking manufactures who can make items of stainless steel and wood for some of our smaller women. The problem remains in wrist cuffs, collars smaller than 12.5 inches, hoods, masks, and certainly with wooden stocks!
We will set up a "special room" in our FUNgeon for the petites here in Chicago.

women's clothing sizes

I think womens clothing sizes mean almost nothing anymore. I can wear anywhere from a 0 to a 4 depending on the individual article. I n the old days (25 yrs ago) I always wore a seven. Funny thing is, I haven't changed weight but now I wear a 2 (usually). Can't trust those darn size tags. i wish they would use waist and inseam like men's.

today a woman at my work made a comment to me: "crista, if it is at all possible, i think that your waist is getting even smaller."

most of the women at my work are aware of the fact that i have issues with my body weight and that it is difficult for me to gain weight and maintain a healthy look.

it irritates me that people feel that telling someone they are "too thin" or "need to gain weight" is not as offensive and hurtful to a person as telling them they are "fat" or "should put down their fork".

it is really difficult for me to withold snide comments to people when they openly critique my body. usually the comments i hear are negative. just about a month ago one of the ladies at my work asked me: "do you have to shop in the little girls' department?" ------ huh? ----- i knew that time that it was not only me who thought that it was rude, because right afterwards another woman who had overheard her told her to "shut up". but i am a nice person, so even though i could use the opportunity to be cruel in return, i hold it in and just let it slide off of my back.

i don't know. i just hate it.

the other day i was watching the Tyra Banks show (yeah yeah i know but it's daytime TV and there aint sh!t on.) and they were talking about models with eating disorders. one of the guest speakers said something like: "i think that all clothing that is a size 0 or 1 should also have a tag on it somewhere that says "Anorexia and Bulemia are unhealthy"."

screw you! just because i wear a size 0 does NOT mean that i have an eating disorder!

if a thin person said that all plus sized clothing should have a tag on it that says "overeating is unhealthy" on national television, then the heavy people of the world would freak out.

Hi everyone, my name is Bob and I'm from Milwaukee, WI. I would like to thank Crista for letting my join even though I don't have any friends yet :(( I am 5"4' and 135, does that make me petite too??? Smaller women have always turned me on, to me they seem so much more fun, and sexy. I also don't think a taller woman would want a shorter man. I have read a couple of topics and I have few comments about them....I have seen posts from men and women about clothes, boy can I relate, my mom still buys me boys clothes, (one man said something about not being able to find his size in the men's department, I have noticed they don't make a "small" size for men anymore and it's hard to find clothes that fit right), but I can't bring myself to look in the Boy's department when I am shopping, it makes me feel old (I'm 38) and funny. One woman mentioned she felt people thought she looked 16 (I don't know how old she was), but just think how you will look when you are 40, people will think you are 20 and that is a great thing. Women please don't let your size be a liability, make it an asset. I know a woman who was 5", but you didn't want to mess with her, she carried herself very well and was extremely confident, nobody walked over her, it was fun to see her put people in their place. All the women I have dated have been my size, but I am waiting for the day when I get to see what It's like to date a petite woman. I'm also happy I found this group, I get a lot of sh*t from women (mostly BBW's) about my need to have a smaller woman. Hi. I am new here and very petite. I don't like it so I am hoping by being here will boost my self-esteem and confidence. I am 27 5'1 and weigh between 85-90 lbs. I am not anorexic just been naturally really thin and short all my life. Genetics. I have a big problem though with people always commenting on my size and the fact that I look 16. I have really low self esteem because of this and I get very shy and I cry a lot because I want to feel and look like an adult women and be treated like one. I have such a hard time finding clothes to fit so I can't just wear anything and I very jealous of seeing other women who can wear anything and look great. Are there any other petite women like myself? I feel very alone.

someone "friend" me please, i can't send messages without being friended. weird.
i'm 5 feet tall. my measurements are 36-28-39.5. my inseam is 26 inches, a lot of "short" instead of "petite" that are 27 inches are passable.

i love fashion and it is a chore. i have suggestions on where to shop for clothes.
a lot of stores that have my size and well are not my style, the clothes are business like or matronly.
jc penny's. not super cheap but check out sales online. i get capris and levis.
ebay. not near enough variety sometimes but sometimes there is a glut of petite clothes. just get some in new or like new condition, they will be very nice and a bargain.

I am 28 years old. married, no children.

to the woman who said some lady made a nasty comment about her size,
some people are thoughtless and daft. Unfortunately women can be catty and competitive if it's not the above raeson for saying something mean. If you are thinner, richer, smarter or more fair of face just grow some thick skin and do try to laugh it off.

memorize this comment, dearie. It makes a point with more cheeky wallop and less self-deprication than "I'm vertically challemged."

it's not super rude either, just be sure to use a joking and calm tone with those words.

say, "I'm sorry I grew to perfection a little quicker than you did, please don't hate me for it."

I wear makeup, get tattoos, and wear heels semi constantly simply to be taken seriously. I have the double whammy of a babyface (genetic) so people are pretty rude to me sometimes. I encounter this vibe way more often where i live, in the southeast. people up north and down south seem to take it for granted that Iam an adult because of how i speak or how i carry msyelf i suppose.

i'm thinking of piercing my ears to look "more grown-up"and hated being periced.

Not happy with my petite status...

How do I voice myself in this tribe that celebrates the smaller female? I am not looking for advice or sympathy but a place to just speak freely about being a small woman.

Last night my partner measured me from head to toe. I'm in the market for a new bicycle. When my partner finished he said, " No wonder we're having trouble finding a bike for you, you stand just under 5' feet. I cried and said that I would not consider a kids bike. I shop the kids department already and I'm not riding a kids bike. Although, some bmx bikes are very cool.

I know what your saying, it's no big deal. Get over it girl, move on. There is more to worry about in this world. But for me and many other women who are under 5' feet it is a big deal. Sure it can be fun being the cute petite girl at the party, but as I'm getting older, it's no longer fun. As a yoga instructor, I do find wonderment and beauty in the human body. I do love my body, and I do like me. I'm just feeling a little blue this evening.

Today in class, I wondered what people really thought of me. Do they see me as this short freaky girl who speaks about clearing the mental chatter from within? I know, I'm worrying over nothing. But it's really challenging on so many levels to be a short person. I never thought about it too much until last night. It's fucking with me.

As a smaller woman, it's challenging to fit into clothes off the rack. I cannot reach the shelves in my closest nor the kitchen cabinets or the top shelves at the grocery store without a ladder or stool. I don't like standing in elevators, everyone around me towers above me. I feel like the midget girl everyone laughs at, silly I know. I want to just hide away.

On a positive note, men seem to really dig me. Most of my lovers have been tall men. They love my small form and curvy body. Sex with taller men as always been varied and exciting <giggle>. I have no problem finding partners.

Thanks for letting me rant about something that is not really worth ranting about.

Time for some chai tea and day dreams.... sigh.

I'm sitting in a coffee shop right now listening to a petite, very cute, young woman talking to her male friend about someone who approached her in a parking lot to tell her she needed help for her anorexia. She was commenting that it wouldn't be considered appropriate for her to go up to some random person who's obese and talk about them needing help with their weight problems. She's also talking about how people accuse her of being anorexic if she doesn't want to eat some large, nasty food.

She's not anorexic. She's small and beautiful. Sad that people feel the need to make judgements like that.

Damn...if she wasn't with a guy I'd ask her out!:) Beautiful eyes too....

unfortunately i was busy most of the day today - and didn't notice the spam that was being posted here until just now. the post has since been deleted and the member removed from the tribe. for the record: if you spam us here you will be removed. sorry guys. we are not here to be "sold" - we are just here to chat.

with that said - this tribe is set on "moderated" membership. for those who are unaware, it means that if someone wants to join this tribe, they need to send me a message asking for permission to join. now - i didn't set this up as "moderated" - it was like that when i got it - but i figured that if someone took the time to enter in that stipulation, there must be a reason why.

i get about 3 to 4 requests per week to join this tribe. if someone has no friends and just joined tribe, i expect them to give me a reason for wanting to join. i try not to discriminate against people who don't have any friends yet, because i know that it's not easy to make friends on here when you have zero. no one trusts that you aren't a troll or an ALT.

so anyway - the bottom line is, i pretty much let anyone join, because i have no way of determining the "good guys" from the "bad guys". so - i guess i just hope that in cases like this, where one slips through the cracks and abuses their privilege of being a member here - i can catch it quick enough that it doesn't annoy too many of you.

For me, the great majority of my lovers have been within a few inches of my own height, which I grant is not considerable. The smallest gal I've met that I'd like to get together with is about 4'11" and *maybe* a hundred pounds. She's also delightfully cute, funny, and has a charmingly husky voice. Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm in Santa Rosa. Drop by my profile and say hello if ya would like to be friends here on Tribe.

I've never found it to be anything one way or another in realationships, being with petite women or taller women. The girl I was married to for 20 yrs was 5' 9". The girl I lived with before that was 5' 2". I was recently emailing with a few new friends and noticed lots of petite women seem to want taller men... maybe thats my imagination? Not sure. I've always enjoyed being with petite women, the way we fit, being a smaller frame myself, 5'5".

what is everyone doing? I am getting ready for a much needed vacation and have been going to some concerts - most recently The Flaming Lips and Ween, Ween sucked for anyone who is interested.

missing album photos...

Recently, a member was reminded that the Petite Women tribe is a safe haven for our prized jewels, and not a place for posting personal ads. This response was the result of a post titled, "I need a bald petite woman," and where the body of the message was equally as vague. I believe most people would have taken the message as a solicitation, and as far as I'm concerned, the safe haven reminder was a very appropriate response. But, when the original poster returned online, he explained that he was seeking photos of petite bald women, and had not been trolling for dates. Appropriately, the thread died with his explanation.

But his explanation got me thinking... I know we had photos of one attractive, petite member that had shaved her head after losing a bet. Those photos have been deleted! As a matter of fact, I looked at the tribe's photo album shortly after the recent moderator change and I discovered that many photos have been deleted! Now I can't say who did this, but I, for one, would appreciate an explanation from someone! And more importantly, I'd like to know why all these photos were deleted... what was the reason, and the justification?

And I'm not talking about copyrighted material or photos that "violated" the new TOU... most of these were photos of members and, to my recollection, none were any "racier" than what's still in the album! So, why were photos of tribe members deleted?

i loved their suits because they fit so well that i didn't even have to tailor them. i got two suits for Christmas and now my birthday is coming up so i went to go on their website and it said "This site no longer exists." i figured it was a glitch or something so i went to the mall and the store wasn't there anymore! they disappeared in a month! dang!

i am bummed.

anyway i ended up scouring the mall trying tons of stuff on and only leaving with a blazer and two cami's. (though i AM happy about the blazer because it's Ralph Lauren and was marked down to $24 from $88.) anyway - it took me forever to find anything so now i *really* want to find a good petite store so i don't have to go all over town looking for suits!

any ideas ladies?? (preferably not internet stores because i have to try things on.) the prices at Petite Sophisticate would be like $150 for a matching pant suit. that was pretty average there, obviously they'd have sales and other more pricey things. can you ladies suggest anywhere to get something in that price range??

I used to buy GAP jeans - reverse fit/short. They fit great, weren't too short and except for wearing out around the back pockets, stood up great. They stopped making them. =-(

I used to get away with Junior designers (Rampage used to be a favorite before Macy's started carrying the line), but now that I have had two children, they don't fit well.

I am 5'2 + 1/2 and found Ann Taylor pants to be too short.

Most of the other designers are too cutesy, too boring or cut for who knows who.

Currently, I buy burner costumes and hack the bottoms off - it is costume wear so who cares but occasionally I need something decent yet flamboyant or other days something practical to wear to family affairs or running around town.

Inspire me, which designers fit you without alteration?

one of us thought of it primarily in regard to height, the other primarily re: weight! and of course we pondered why it's used only for women. IS there no such thing as a petite man? (of course we discussed linguistics and socially normative and acceptable gender-signifiers etc.)

anyway, how do you understand the term?
